Perhaps like you, I have always loved horses and country life. My dream was to live on a farm and own race horses.
When I reached that dream, I wanted the best images I could get of my horses and got serious about photography.
One of my first race horses, Saint Leon (to the left), was a $5000 claimer who went forward with trainer Michele Boyce and jockey ET Baird to win the Arlington Sprint Listed Stake three years in a row. What a dream come true! I was hooked for life and now race under the name Oak Rock Racing LLC.
On the right are my three OTTB (Off-Track Thoroughbreds) pasture pets; Conchacer, Royally Robbed, Knight Fighter.
On the Chicago racing circuit of Arlington Park and Hawthorne Race Course I support the Galloping Out retirement/rehoming program and am a volunteer photographer for CANTER-Chicago, a listing service that advertises retiring race horses. It is so gratifying when former race horses find a new career and loving home.
Many other photographs come from the daily activities on our 500 acre grain and hay farm in Southern Wisconsin.
In 2018 I started shooting races for Coady Photography at Arlington Park and exhibiting in Gallery 223 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
For your equine and farm stock needs, find my work on Adobe Stock, iStock, and Alamy.
I hope you enjoy and are inspired by my photography. See you at the races!
